Information for Digital Photographers

If you are editing your images in one of the popular image editing programs like Adobe Elements, Photoshop, Corel Paint, etc. please see information for digital artists for file formats and sizes.

Digital Camera's are measured by Megapixel and this influences the theoretical size of the image you can print. We have printed successfully a 60" x 80" print from a consumer 10 Mpix camera. This is NOT recommended but this particular image did look pretty damn good!

We have special algorithms to size images up and we have software to remove JPEG artifacts. However we will NEVER make a print that we do not think will look good without discussing it with the artist first. If in doubt we can make a proof section of the image at the final size and if you don't like it you have only lost $12.00 for the proof.

We also can't work miracles so a 1st generation cell phone picture to 30" x 40" ... not so much...
